BOAT RAMP INFORMATION

Smallwood State Park - Lower Mattawomen Creek/Potomac River -301.743.7613
From the North West take the Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 3A, Route 210 Indian Head Hwy. Follow Indian Head Hwy South 18 miles, Turn left onto Hawthrone Road, Route 225 East. Follow 225 East 1.7 miles, turn right onto Route 224 South. Look for Smallwood State Park signs on right after Graves Store on Left.

Slavins Ramp -Upper Mattawomen Creek
From the North West take the Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 3A, Route 210 Indian Head Hwy. Follow Indian Head Hwy South past Route 225. Just before NSWC gate, turn left on Mattingly Road to the launch area at bottom of hill.

Friendship Landing - Nanjemoy Creek
From the North West take the Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 3A, Route 210 Indian Head Hwy. Follow Indian Head Hwy South 18 miles, Turn left onto Hawthrone Road, Route 225 East. Follow 225 East 1.7 miles, turn right onto Route 224 South. Turn left on Route 425 follow to Friendship Landing Road and turn left.

Leesylvania State Park - Potomac River - 703.670.0372
Take Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 4B in VA, Route 95 South at Springfield, VA. Follow 95 South 13.6 miles to exit 156, Route 784 East. Follow 784 East to Route 1 South turn right. Go 2 lights to Neabsco Road, turn left and proceed 1.5 miles to park entrance.

Anna Point Marina - Lake Anna - 540.895.5900
Take Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 4B in VA, Route 95 South at Springfield, VA. Follow 95 South towards Fredricksburg. Take 606 Thornburg exit toward Lake Anna signs. Follow 606 to Route 208 and turn left. Follow 208 about 15 miles to Marina entrance on right

North Bend Park - Kerr Resevoir - 804.738.6662
Take Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 4B in VA, Route 95 South at Springfield, VA. Follow 95 South towards Petersburg, VA. Take Interstate 85 South to South Hill, VA. Take the second South Hill exit to Route 58 West. Take 58 Business By-Pass for 10-12 miles toward Boydton, VA. Before you get to town on Boydton, VA turn left on Highway 4 South. There will be a Exxon Station on corner. Go 6 miles on Highway 4 through Resevoir Lands. Turn right at top of hill (don't cross dam) onto May's Chapel Road and go 1/2 mile to North Bend Park on left.

Leedstown Ramp - Rappahannock River
Take Washington Beltway 95/495 to exit 4B in VA, Route 95 South at Springfield, VA. Take 95 South to Falmouth Exit, 17S-E (before Fredricksburg, VA). Both roads are the same for a few miles. Turn off 17S to 3E when it splits. You will need to turn left according to the map. Stay on 3E for several miles. Go across 301 and stay on 3E for 9.8 miles. Turn right onto 638 East, (7-11 on corner). Leedstown campground is about 6 miles on the right side.

Black Hill Regional Park - Little Seneca Lake
Take I-270 North past Germantown to Route 27 Damacus exit. Follow 27 to Route 355 North, turn left. Follow 355 North about 1.5 miles to Old Baltimore Road, turn left. Follow Old Baltimore Road about 3 miles to park entrance on left. Follow park road past guard house and turn right toward boat ramp. Ramp is on left after crossing lake.

Sharptown Ramp - Nanticoke River
Take Rt.50-E to Rt.404-E through Denton. Take SECOND Rt.313 exit (past Andersontown) towards Federalsburg. Go through Federalsburg and keep RIGHT at the Rt.313/Rt.577 split. Stay LEFT in Eldorado (still Rt.313) to Sharptown - cross bridge and make first left to the pickle factory. Park is on right. Ramp should be free and Maryland licenses are valid. From this ramp, left is towards Rt.50 bridge and the bay.
